Faith rises above difficulties

“If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).
“This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4).

Unbelief begins at the obstacle, and then tries to work for God, but the obstacle shuts out the sight of God. Unbelief looks at the mountain of difficulty. Faith says, “I like mountain scenery, let me get on to the top and see the view.” Faith begins with God, and the obstacle becomes as a molehill.

It is men of faith who have saved the world, not men of knowledge
—Sir Wilfred Grenfell.

—Graham Scroggie.
